Home is a place that holds little altars. Happy gatherings of teacups and treasures, memories and musings and music.

These small clusters seem to anchor the idea that “someone lives here” someone real with a past and a passion.

These holy hubs give the eyes a place to rest and the soul a place to reflect on the essence of how it feels to be “at home.” To offer someone or yourself a sense of sanctuary and belonging is no small thing, it’s EVERYTHING. For from that sweet foundation creativity is more likely to unfurl.

When coaching creatives and writers I can tell from setting one foot into their space if they are blocked or blooming and it usually comes down to the presence of little altars.
