Last night at Voice Box Stories we heard several stories about overcoming rough patches. We can all relate to that topic.

Rough patches happen. We all go through the dark hour and sometimes it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes we can even lose faith that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

But like a bad waitressing shift, this too shall pass. The dark night sure can be convincing, but when the sun finally gets around to rising, the vision is majestic.

Remember, the road is lined with way showers, people who keep pedaling even when the path is unpaved.

On this day in 1994, a prisoner was elected to president. ” – Former political prisoner Nelson Mandela was inaugurated as president of South Africa. Mandela had won the first free election in South Africa despite attempts by various political foes to deter the outcome.”

The man went through many a cold night in hell, but as we know that was not the end of his story.

We are all designed to RISE… Yourself included. Keep pedaling, you are almost there.
